I was twelve years old when I had the most amazing vision.  I had no idea at the time of the importance or signficance of what I was seeing.  So as I write this post, I pray that God give me courage and the words to describe it to the best of my ability.  I pray for courage because I decided over 20 years ago that I was going to write this vision down and publish it, despite a strong gut feeling that it was not the proper time.  Because I wanted to write it so bad and I would be using a computer that was mid-range but brand new, what could possibly go wrong?  So I began hastily writing and barely had a sentence written when the computer came to a complete halt and crashed, wiping out everything on the computer.  If you have ever had a hard drive crash in the midst of working, you know the feeling.   But needless to say, it took several painstaking hours to format and partition the drives then load and configure the software and peripherals.  I took that as a sign — I’m gonna wait.

I believe the time is now.  I can feel it.  So, open your heart and journey with me as I recount this vision and understand that God is sovereign.  There is nothing He can’t do.  No one can say what He will or won’t do, what He can and can’t do, or who He will or won’t use to accomplish a task.  God’s laws are for man not Him, and He can take something that was intended for bad, and make it good.  In fact, besides myself there are three other people who had a role in confirming what I already knew to be true.  These three are a priest and two nephews whom I will refer to as NephewA and NephewB.  Both are extremely intelligent and very knowledgeable about their respective faiths. NephewA is a Muslim through and through and Nephew B is a Christian with some caveats regarding tradition.  However, before getting into what their roles were, here is the vision of God and the events that led up to it.

I grew up in a large family, seven girls, and three boys.  My mother in her younger days was very strong, proud, and faith driven.  My dad also was very diligent who worked every day except Sunday from dawn to dusk running his construction business.  So basically it was my mother who ran the house and she was good at it.  Me, I was just a typical kid and when I wasn’t playing outside, I liked to read and listen to bible stories. I was about four years old when I first understood that Jesus was crucified, I became really sad and said “why did they kill Him? I wanted Him to be my friend — I bet He could make some good mud pies.”  I didn’t realize at the time that Jesus made spit-mud and gave sight to a blind man and when He was a child He formed birds from mud and told them to fly away and they did.  Then I understood the resurrection How God was ever present but you just couldn’t see Him. Little did I know He already had His sights on me.

When I was in the 6th grade and began to see the wickedness in the world, it made me doubt somewhat God’s existence.  You had parents celebrating Christmas, a day we recognize that the Truth was born into the world, by telling lies to their kids that Santa (by the way if you take the “n” and move it to the end, it spells Satan) was who you consulted for nice gifts.  This is a clear deception and playing with the minds of children on such a spiritual level is unconscionable.  Imagine how God felt when I was younger praying and asking Him to make santa claus get me what I wanted for Christmas after my parents threatened me with nothing for doing wrong.  Their good intentions were genuine but unnecessary.  I’m so glad I recognized Him as superior! What also caused me to doubt was the heinous brutal beating of a very young black girl who was pulled from the water days later – the horrible photos of her dead and swollen water-filled body plastered in the paper for days still resonates as unspeakable violence.  No parent could stand to see their child like that.  If God existed He would never let that happen.  Then there was Don — the white owner of a corner store who would always tell us we were eating too much candy before selling us three cent candy bars for a nickel.  One day I heard a lot of commotion and ran outside just in time to see paramedics moving Don on a stretcher to the ambulance.  I was horrified and screaming what happened.  I never will forget the look on Don’s face when he turned and looked at me and tried to smile.  I could tell he was scared.  But because he did that I thought everything would be ok.  Not so – Don died shortly after from gunshot wounds he suffered during a robbery.  This is all very sad and terrible.  Surely God would not allow this to happen.

However, sixth grade life for me went on but my prayers would now begin with “God if you exist.”  Now there was a bully in my class who I will refer to as Tommy.  He would always do very annoying things like snatch my hat off my head and run or snatch my pencil out of my hand when I was writing something and take his time about giving them back. I was fed up with him and began praying one night, “God if you exist, make Tommy leave me alone.”  It was very soon afterward that we were standing in line and Tommy comes into the classroom and was walking toward me.  I became so nervous that I dropped my books.  He bent down, picked them up and handed them to me with a smile and never bothered me again.  It’s a corny story but true.  But what happened next turned me from a skeptic to an absolute believer and bona fide eye witness to the truth.

It started out like a normal day.  Usually when we came home from school, the house would be beautifully cleaned and dinner would be ready and my mother would make sure we had our homework done before we could go outside to play.  But this day was different. When we got home from school, the house was a royal wreck, and my mom was still standing over the stove trying to cook dinner.  My first thought was she must not be feeling well.  And it didn’t take long for her to confirm that she was sick and that she was going to give each of us a set of chores and when they were completed, the whole house would be clean and we could go out to play.

So we had dinner and I very quickly did what I was told and was getting ready to go outside.  But when I walked through to the living room; the house was still a royal wreck and the only ones who were still inside were me and her and she was sick.  I got mad because my sisters and brothers left without doing much to help our mother when she was clearly sick.  I looked around the room and there was so much junk that I became overwhelmed on top of being mad.  Then I happened to look at a picture of Jesus that hung above the mantle and noticed the expression had changed to very angry and it scared me.  Then the eyes started following me.  So I said I know I’ll just ignore it because pictures always seem like they’re looking at you.  Then something started speaking to me in my thoughts saying, pick up all loose items and put them away.  When I finished it said now get a damp cloth and wipe the mantle and tables off and dry them.  I started with the mantle, removing each item and cleaning them and then cleaning the mantle, all the while I was still ignoring the picture but because it was so close, I could feel something looking at me.

Then it said remove the cushions from the couches and clean them off.  He then said pull the couches out from the wall and sweep and pick up the trash.  He continued now get the mop and mop the floors.  Then He said now stand back and look at what you’ve done.  I was completely worn out but I thought yeah it looks good.  I turned and started to go to my room to take a break and noticed my mom was still trying to wash some items in the bathroom sink, and He said “Now ask your mother if there is anything else she wants done.”  I thought what is this and why am I listening.  I was thinking no I won’t ask her that because she might say yes and I’m tired.  And I got mad all over again and glanced up at my mother as I proceeded to my room thinking “I wish I would.”  Now it was not like I decided at the last moment to ask my mother anything but suddenly and uncontrollably my mouth flew open and said “mom is there anything else you want me to do?”  She looked at me like she was shocked and she said “Oh no sweetheart, you did a great job.  Thank you so much for helping me.”  I half-smiled because I knew that wasn’t me that said that.  I started to my room while touching my mouth and thinking how did that happen?

Still puzzled, I got in my bed and reached for the covers and instantly my body froze – I couldn’t move!  There was a very strong pressuring sensation at the top of my head and it was like I became paralyzed.  I could also sense a very strong being standing behind me.  I tried to get out of it and could not.  I said every prayer I could think of many times over because I was scared, I didn’t know what was happening — I was stuck!  I remember thinking whatever this is it is STRONG!!!  After struggling for a few more minutes and I was becoming more scared by the moment, that same voice said why don’t you just say something, but I was scared that it might get me, and continued to struggle to try and get out of it.  Then the voice said if it wanted to get you it would have done so already.

Finally, I just gave in and mustard up the last bit of courage I had and said “ok, I know you are there, but I’m just a little person and I don’t have anything.”  After a few seconds He started speaking.  He said what amounted to ‘you are about to be transcended.’  I understood it and said ok.  Then He walked out from behind me and as He passed by my bed He said “Get up.” I got up to a sitting position but could see myself still lying on the bed and I said “WHOA.” Then I looked toward the person and my focus quickly shifted from me to who was in my room.  It was Jesus!  He looked like He had stepped right out of that picture and into my room! I got all the way up and started walking slowly toward Him and I said “It’s you! You’re actually in this room!”  He turned and smiled slightly, with a look on His face like, just wait till you see this.  He took a step, and I saw several beings at once come out of the first one in a single contiguous row in a thin realm of light.  My mouth dropped opened!  They were all facing me and they each looked different.

After a few seconds the one closet to the first turned toward the first one and slowly walked back into the first one.  As this was going on, the last one turned and took a step towards the first one but then turned and started walking towards me!  He had big bright eyes and His face was constantly changing from jet black to light gray and in between, showing expressions of every emotion at the same time!  I also saw what looked like lightning emitting from His beard.  I backed up and fell onto the dresser – I almost passed out!  He then turned away from me and walked back into the realm and was in perfect succession to the next to the last one as He was walking toward and into the first one.  I had followed behind the last one, a few feet away mind you, and I noticed that they looked identical from the back!  The first one was looking back when the last one walked into the first one, and there was a big jolt, like a seal.  I was stunned! Then Jesus walked over to my sister’s bed and sat down.  I said “you’re actually sitting on that bed!”  Then I walked up to Him and reached to touch His shoulder, and He leaned back so I couldn’t touch Him.  He had a ‘don’t do that’ look on His face.  So I just stood there.

Then He said “sit down” motioning for me to sit next to Him on the left side.  I sat down and was looking up at Him in total awe! His white robe looked like it was glowing.  And He looked at me as if what He had to say pained Him deeply.  He told me things that were going to happen that were horrific.  Still excited, I said “Oh that’s nothing — I know you and you can do anything.”  Those things don’t have to happen.  And He just looked at me.  I knew then that He was not going to change it.  Then He told me something specific concerning my mother and she would be ok, and said something to the effect that whatever was going to happen was still going to happen but I was right, it is nothing  and not to worry about it. I started  crying profusely and pleading with Him to not let those terrible things happen.  He got up and walked across the room.  Then I thought about a bible story that I heard about a man who grabbed hold of an angel and wouldn’t let him go until he got what he wanted. I looked at Jesus and He had a ‘don’t you try it’ look on His face so I just sat there crying.  He said go and lay back down.  I was crying so bad that it didn’t even matter to me that I was climbing back into my own body. He then waved His arm over me and I was instantly calm with just a couple of residual sniffles.

He stood over me, sort of  bending down, as I layed in the bed, unable to move again.  Then He said, I’m going to tell you these words and I want you to repeat them after me and whatever you do, don’t forget them.  I said ok.  He said the two words, and I repeated them after Him for several more times.  Then He said you are about to come out of this transcendental state and whatever you do, don’t forget them.  I said I won’t forget.  Then He said the words a few more times and I repeated them each time, and just like that I was back and able to move again.  And almost simultaneously I heard a big thump in the closet.  I jumped up standing on top of my bed with my back against the wall, and started screaming and calling my mother to come into the room.  She came rushing into the room and I told her that there was something in the room and it went in the closet.  She looked in the closet and said, “child, there’s nothing in here but a bunch of junk, but you can clean it tomorrow.”

After a sigh of relief, I settled back down and attempted to recall the two words.  I remembered the first word but was having trouble recalling the second one.  While I was trying to recall the second word I forgot the first one.  I panicked and tried to remember and it just got worse.  I cannot believe after all of that, I forgot the words!  After struggling all night until I fell asleep, the next day the thought of forgetting the words sent me into a deep depression.  I told my mother what had occurred the night before and that I forgot the words.  She said “it sounds like you had some kind of religious experience — don’t be so hard on yourself.  God will allow you to recall it when it’s the right time.”  That gave me some solace, and my goodness was she ever right.  It would be five years later involving a chance encounter with a Catholic priest and another divine encounter in between; both instances will be detailed in future posts.

For now, fast forward forty years and what happened with Nephews A and B.  While washing dishes one night, the phone rang.  I dried my hands and ran to the phone quickly, not planning to talk very long.  It was NephewA, and we began talking about religion.  I just sat down where I was at which was not my usual seat not looking at anything in particular.  In fact I was oddly facing the wall, about five feet away.  I was telling him that there were things that happened to me that let me know for a fact that God is real.  And I began telling him about this vision and how it started with the picture.  He asked me what the picture looked like, and I started to think back to when I was twelve, trying to remember what the picture looked like.  It seemed that I could see a negative of the picture in my head and literally tried to describe it from that but to no avail.  So I just told him it was just a regular picture.  As I continued to tell him the story, all of a sudden the picture started coming into view right in front of my face!  It seemed like the Jesus picture was smiling hard from across the room! I can’t believe this is actually happening right now!  I was looking right at the picture and didn’t know it!  I quickly assessed what events led up to that moment and how I came to be looking right at the picture (it was in the background of another picture)  and determined it was an impossibility — only God can do the impossible.  This went way beyond coincidence.  I was stunned but I knew there was some kind of reason for it.  At that point the only thing I could do was scream and after pulling myself together, I was able to tell NephewA what the picture looked like.  The next day I told various family members what happened, and after careful thought I told them that this was meant for NephewA because God knows I already knew.

A couple of days later, NephewA comes over and wants to see the picture.  I point it out to him and he gets real close, and suddenly jumps back!  He jumped so hard it startled me.  I said “What’s wrong?” And he said “nothing.” I pressured him a few more times but he wouldn’t tell me.  So a few years after that NephewB comes over and I tell him about NewphewA’s reaction to the picture, not telling NewphewB the details of the vision.  I believe I may have told him about the vision at some point in time, but I’m not sure he remembered it.  Anyway, NephewB says let me see the picture and when he looks at it he immediately notices something that sent chills over my body. He said it looks like there’s someone else in the picture, he continues and there’s another one up here. NephewB attempted to describe what he saw by even making a sketch, but I still couldn’t see it.  After he left I found a magnifying glass and was able to see what looked like another person in the picture.  It wasn’t until I took a snapshot of the picture and loaded it on my computer that I saw even more.   Now I cannot say definitively that what NephewB saw was the same thing that NephewA saw, but I loaded the picture to this post and pointed out what I saw.

Now if it were not for NephewA’s reaction to the picture, I would never have looked more closely at it to see this amazing revelation.  And as a footnote, another nephew who I will refer to as NephewC is also a muslim and he pretty much described the last one in my vision without me telling him the details.  He described the hair of the one in this picture almost to a “t” without seeing it.  He too, like the other nephews is extremely intelligent.  I think this was meant for him as well.  In John 10:16 Jesus says “And other sheep I have, which are not of this pen: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one pen, and one shepherd.”  Because my nephews are so passionate and smart, I can’t help but think they may have a role in this.

Finally, I prayed at the beginning of this post that God would give me the words to accurately describe what I saw.  I made it through the post and my computer didn’t crash.  I made some typos along the way but just hit the enter key throughout, but just as I was about to delete the errors I looked at them and, I just went hmmm.  Here’s what it is:  (hwhwh.  Wonder). Does anything sound familiar to you?  I will just say hmmm, and leave it in.  God is Real, and there is no doubt about it.  For non-believers no amount of evidence can be given.  For believers, it is a matter of faith and the evidence is simply appreciated.

Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world. Each religion’s monotheistic views center on love, peace, and mercy, but the similarities end when it comes to redemption through Jesus. So why is Islam directly opposed to Christianity on that issue? History shows that Christianity derived from Judaism which can be traced to Abraham through Isaac through preserved and distinct lineage and chronology. Jesus was Jewish with clearly defined lineage to the tribe of Judah, one of the twelve sons of Israel who is the grandson of Abraham. However, Islam does not have its origin in either. Perhaps that is the start of the controversy, although Muslims will argue that Islam stems from Ishmael, which then links its religion to Abraham. Since Ishmael also had Egyptian roots, Muhammad’s kin relationship cannot be shown here either, but for the sake of discussion, assuming it is true, where is Muhammad’s chronology in Jewish or Egyptian ancestry? (Genesis 25:9-34).  Even still, God’s blessing through Ishmael was limited to twelve princes, whereas Isaac’s blessing would produce the Messiah, Jesus, and one that would last forever.  (Genesis 17:15-20).  Egyptians were excellent record-keepers, and history shows that there were notably twelve princes from ancient Egypt as written in the Bible.  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Heirs_to_the_Ancient_Egyptian_throne).  After Sarah died, Abraham married Keturah and had six more sons which had no bearing on the eternal blessing through Isaac’s lineage.

Muslims also argue that when Jesus said He had to leave so the Holy Spirit could come, that He was speaking of Muhammad. It is clear that the Holy Spirit is spirit, and made His presence known at Pentecost, hundreds of years before Muhammad, a flesh and blood man, was even born. This is a false teaching and it will be shown later why to equate any human being with the Holy Spirit is immensely dangerous and will have eternal consequences. Simply put, Jesus’ ministry was one that brought the good news of the kingdom, a kingdom not of this world, one that would have no end – one that promised eternal life for those who believed in Him. His was a message of hope through salvation and forgiveness of sins, even for Adam and Eve, and all those who died in their sin because Jesus descended into hell and delivered the good news to the peoples of the past. His role was to deliver all from the bondage of sin and death through the crucifixion and resurrection — He is the new Passover from eternal death to eternal life.

When Jesus’ mission was accomplished, it was now the role of the Holy Spirit to convict the world according to Jesus’ testimony concerning sin and righteousness and judgment, (John 16:8), and to be a helper and comforter to believers in times of trial and tribulation, and to reveal the truth beyond human reasoning. The Holy Spirit urges the believer to praise and glorify God. He makes His presence known through signature gifts such as healing and speaking in tongues and more, when necessary, for the glorification of God the Father. The Qur’an teaches that God is separate from creation. This is a false teaching because it is clear that the first book of the bible shows just how close God is to His creations. But to clearly understand how close God is to His creations, Jesus’ role and the role of the Holy Spirit, requires knowledge and understanding of the beginning of creation and the fall of man.

In the beginning in Genesis 1 we read about God’s creation, how He created man in His own image (Genesis 1:27); in His image He created them, male and female. Now Jesus says that God is Spirit (John 4:23-24) so the first male as well as first female must have also been spirit. At the end of Genesis 1 God looked upon all His creation and said it was not only good but very good, nothing bad is mentioned. The first creation, Genesis 1, can be referred to as “The creation In the Name of the Father (God the Father).” Now in Genesis 2 it is apparent that something happened to cause a renewal creation because it says, ‘these are the generations of the heavens and earth when they were created.’ (Genesis 2:4). Moreover, we see this creation as physical since man (Adam) is formed from the dust of the ground and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (spirit) and he became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). (This shows just how close God is to His creation). Unlike in Genesis 1 where all of creation was very good, suddenly in Genesis 2, Adam is given free will to choose to love and obey God on his own by making a choice between good and evil. God warns Adam that if he chooses evil, he (and all who would follow) will surely die. He would die spiritually, physically and eternally — understand there was nothing Adam could do on his own to reverse this and save himself.

Later in Genesis 2, God performs the first surgery and, for lack of a better term, transplant, complete with anesthetic effect, incision and closure since He causes a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, opens his flesh, takes out a rib, closes Adam’s incision, and then creates Eve with Adam’s rib (Genesis 2:21-23). So Eve’s creation is also physical. And she too understood God’s warning not to choose evil over good.

However, Eve, not heeding God’s warning, repudiates man’s authority on earth by allowing herself to be deceived by the devil and choosing to disobey God, and causing Adam to do the same, and thereby creating man’s separation from God through sin. After detailing their punishment, God promises one who would defeat evil, who would reconcile God with man, and who would be born of woman. This is the first prophesy of Jesus, the deliverer from the bondage of sin and death, who came into the world by way of the Holy Spirit and virgin birth because God caused all that He is to dwell in Him. (Isaiah 9:1-7). It is not surprising then that upon Jesus’ resurrection, the woman was the first to witness salvation because she was the first to be deceived and commit sin. Jesus’ then told the woman to tell the man that redemption had been accomplished just as Eve told Adam it was okay to sin. Salvation is the crux of Christianity and the recognition of the supremacy of Jesus Christ beyond the virgin birth.

His divinity though is far more than salvation. Jesus is the visible (physical) image of the invisible (spiritual) God and by Him and for Him was everything else created and made. (John 1:1-15, 1 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 1:13-17). God is so close to His creation that He chose to be born as man because only He, being perfect, could save man by showing him how to overcome the world by following His teachings and accepting His free gift of salvation, which is the only reversal of eternal condemnation. (John 8:51-58, Matthew 22:31-46).  This second creation (Genesis 2) can be referred to as “The creation in the name of the Son (God the Son).”

It is important to note here that Muslims do not believe in the blood of Christ. They have allowed themselves to be deceived like Eve by teaching just the opposite. They teach that someone who looked like Jesus’ twin was crucified and on judgment day you will be asked the question ‘do you believe Jesus is God’ and if you answer yes, you will be cast out. This is a false teaching. Islam puts this deception squarely on our salvation so as to cast doubt where there should be none.  In fact the only “prophet” that Jesus said would come after Him was the false prophet. (Matthew 24:11).  Do not allow yourselves to be deceived. Nowhere in the scriptures, old or new testaments, is there even an inkling of this. In fact, even today there are an abundance of historical, archaeological and geological findings of artifacts and ancient writings that support the already historically proven biblical evidence of Jesus’ miraculous birth, ministry, crucifixion and resurrection. It is no coincidence that the very calendar used today is based upon the life of Jesus. The countdown to judgment according to His testimony of the signs of the times, is being witnessed today and often referred to in the media as events of biblical proportion.  Whenever you here any media outlet referring to an event “of biblical proportion” they are speaking of Jesus’ prophesies in Luke 21:7-20 and Matthew 24:3-14.  One sign of the times that can be referred to as the “silent sign” is also coming to past — that sign is God revealing Himself through prophetic dreams, visions and divine interventions.  I am an eye witness to each of these and as such, it is incumbent upon me to disclose each one which I will do in future posts.  Be reminded that Jesus will return, Muslims agree, and He will have much to say in judgment of us. (John 8:26).

It is really perplexing that so many Muslims indiscriminately accept the word of one man, Muhammad, whose lineage cannot be definitively traced to Abraham, and who had a spiritual experience, no witnesses, with a being claiming to be the angel Gabriel who forced him to recite the doctrine. Perhaps this is why radical Muslims believe they can force Islam on people, a practice that is in direct opposition to the will of God’s free will. But because Islam is so opposed to Christianity, could this be the same being that deceived Eve? It is reasonable to conclude that the Transfiguration complete with witnesses, (Matthew 17:1-13), was symbolic for the culmination of the law (represented by Moses) and the prophets (represented by Elijah) being perfected in Jesus’ mission. Therefore, no other messenger bearing news other than what had already been presented and perfected in Jesus is necessary.

A personal experience with the Qur’an is one that opened my eyes to the real truth and had me on my knees praying to God to cleanse my mind when it was revealed to me what was happening, which I will mention later in this post. Do not allow yourselves to be deceived. You can only be saved by the blood of Jesus and your belief in Him. No one gets to the Father except through Him. There is no other way. What would have happened if the Israelites did not cover their doors with the blood of the lamb as Moses instructed according to God’s command at the first Passover? What if something came along and told them that the death angel would pass over them anyway without the blood of the lamb? Would they readily believe it or trust in God? Needless to say, they did the right thing. And it was this very event that Jesus was celebrating as He relayed to the disciples instructions for the new spiritual Passover – a Passover that will lead to the new kingdom of eternal life guided by the real Holy Spirit.

Now to answer the question of why Jesus said He had to leave so the Holy Spirit could come is one in the making. Jesus’ mission was accomplished. So in short, the third and final creation had to begin. We are now transcending from the physical creation consisting of sin, death, grace, redemption and salvation to one of conviction, judgment and eternal life. The Holy Spirit who dwells within believers is active in convicting those to be reborn spiritually according to the testimony of Jesus, in order to be reunited with God spiritually and physically in the third and final creation – one born by the Holy Spirit, a perfect world such as in Genesis 1. The new creation will present an eternal creation that surpasses by far the prior creations because it will have no end. It will be filled with people who have new physical and spiritual bodies and who have chosen to love and obey God on their own free will, without force. It is very good, with insurmountable peace, love, joy and happiness; there will be no more evil, sin, wars, sickness, tears and death, because they will be cast out forever. Take note that all sins can be forgiven except one, and that is sin against the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit is bringing about an eternal creation, a new heaven, new earth, and new souls reborn of the spirit, anyone who speaks evil of Him, His work or casts any doubt on His actions and who He is has committed an eternal sin. That sin will not be forgiven. (Matthew 12:31-32), (Mark 3:28-30), (Luke 12:10). Therefore, the third and final creation can be referred to as “The creation In the Name of the Holy Spirit (God the Holy Spirit).” This is the real truth.

As Christians, we acknowledge God as one, by praying in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. God is one. Just because we have a physical body and a spiritual one does not mean we are two people but one. Because God is who He says He is, His omnipotence is far more than we can fathom. We lack the capacity to comprehend Him in any way other than how He has revealed Himself. You can take all the knowledge of the world since the beginning of time until now, combine it, and it is mere stupidity to Him. We cannot say what He will or won’t do, or How He chooses to reveal or manifest Himself. God is sovereign and worthy to be praised.

Christian and Muslim doctrine both acknowledge God as one. However, what concerns me about the Qur’an is the effect it has on a person after they have read it. My personal experience with the Qur’an came about at a time when I was in a heated discussion about the Qur’an. I was standing up for the Holy Bible and dismissing the Qur’an, when God stopped me. He spoke to me in spirit and said read the Qur’an so you can understand what you are talking about.

I was somewhat perplexed because I knew that what I was speaking was true. So I obeyed and purchased the Qur’an and began to read it. I first noticed that God refers to Himself as We. And almost instantly I realized that phrases were being repeated over and over, and then suddenly a statement is made about Jesus such as ‘Jesus was a good man.’ As I continued to read, I noticed that this doctrine is methodically and almost hypnotically minimizing the supremacy of Jesus with an underlying tone of resentment toward Him — truth be told. I was just about to start Surah 3 when this was revealed to me, so I put it down immediately, got on my knees, and began praying asking God to cleanse my mind because I knew better from personal experiences with Him. I was also reminded of what Jesus said about false prophets that would deceive the very elect if it were possible. (Matthew 24:24).  Because of His instruction, I now know what to say specifically to any Muslim that tries to minimize Jesus’ authority and say that a person can be saved by their own deeds and why this is a false teaching. I believe He allowed me to go there because He knew it wouldn’t get me, however, unless you are guarded by the Truth, if you make it through Surah 3, you have been had.

Finally, when  looking at God’s creations it can be seen that the first creation in the name of the Father was spiritual and perfect, and the second creation of the Son was a physical embodiment of the spiritual and gave man free will, forgiveness of sin and salvation, and the third creation of the Holy Spirit will return a perfect spiritual and physical creation to God through physical and spiritual cleansing that will last forever.  Whether it’s Christianity, Islam, Judaism or any other religion for that matter, or why Islam opposes Christianity these are all insignificant since Jesus’ testimony is about changing your mind and your heart and living your life according to His teachings.  There will perhaps be people chosen to eternal life from all of them, except non-repentant devil worshipers and possibly those who sin against the Holy Spirit. In fact The Book of Revelation begins with reasons why Jesus is displeased with all the Churches if one chooses to believe that the Church and religion are synonymous. However, Jesus made a distinction that the Church was from within. So in order to change His displeasure and secure eternal peace and happiness as believers, each  person has to tailor their thoughts and actions according to the teachings of Jesus who instructed His disciples to teach His gospel throughout the world so His children would be saved and thereby be reborn of the spirit.

Jesus’ prayer for those who were crucifying Him was ‘Father forgive them for they know not what they do.’ So it goes for ISIS as it is that God created every person, since the beginning of time, and desires all to come to Him with a repentant heart and be saved. Regardless of religion, monotheistic that is — the belief in one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Israel and Moses, each person should establish a personal relationship with God by praying to Him alone because on judgment day, they will stand alone, and will have to account for the atrocity of beheading or otherwise killing any person, including themselves — people that God created.

Now one can still come together and pray as they are accustomed, but each person needs that personal relationship with God and once they have it, they will experience and be guided by the real truth and know what God’s love really is, so as to not be blindsided or radicalized by deception or unnatural persuasion. You want Him to know you individually.  It is clear that ISIS has somehow been deceived since they believe that America has declared war on Islam — America is a free country, with freedom of religion written in its Constitutional law of the land. If each member of ISIS or any other terrorist organization truly values not only their beliefs, but their God given sacred physical and spiritual bodies in the name of God, the real challenge for each member should be to examine personally the source by which they have come to believe the falsehood that America has declared war on Islam or any false justification to promote evil. However, before they examine the source they should understand and arm themselves with the true characteristics of a child of God and act accordingly for spiritual protection because the real enemy is very powerful, and one that only God can destroy and it’s not America or any other country in the world for that matter.

We should all focus our minds and hearts on the attributes of God and write His commandments given to us by Moses upon our hearts. God is real, and He is attentive to our every action. Now Jesus gives only two commandments with the first being the greatest and the second like it. He also taught that if you follow these two commandments all the others will automatically follow. The first and greatest of these is to love God with your whole heart, mind, and soul. The second is to love your neighbor as yourself.

Now put yourself to the test to see if your actions are consistent with God’s expectations of us or a simple purporting of the truth. To complete the test, which anyone in the world can do, when you are alone after prayer asking God for understanding and guidance, get a piece of paper and draw a line vertically down the middle to form two columns. In the first column write the heading “Attributes of God.” In the second column write the heading “attributes of the devil.”  The first column would begin with attributes like those found in Isaiah 9, such as King of Kings, Prince of Peace, Almighty God, Creator of all things, God is Love, God is One, The Truth, The Eternal, Lord, Kind, breath of Life, Most High… and follow with attributes like His children are obedient, merciful, kind, humble, love Him, love others, do good and pray for those who offend, feed the hungry, care for the sick, preach good news to the poor; He expects us to love Him and be obedient. In the second column write the attributes of the devil which are liar, hater, false accuser of God’s children, deceiver, tempter, all things evil, lewd, lover of money rather than lover of God, murderer…; the devil’s mission is to deceive, steal, kill and destroy your soul so that you will not enjoy eternal life with God or on earth. Furthermore with each of these columns comes a spiritual mark that each person possesses.

But first comes the test; truthfully examine your own internal thoughts and actions privately and the qualities of those you follow by checking off those attributes in the proper column. No one is perfect, though you should aspire to become perfect.  However, if you have more checks in the second column than the first, the mark of the devil is in your head and in your hands because you think and do the works of the devil. Privately get on your knees and repent, and ask God to cleanse you from evil. He will and can do this for you because He loves you. This will establish a personal relationship with God. It would truly be unfortunate for even one person to be misguided into fighting a war in the name of God and on judgment day He says to you, get away from me because I never knew you. God is real and He loves each and every one of us, personally! If you have more checks in the first column, the mark of God is in your head and in your hands because you think and do the true will of God.

Finally, America, ISIS, the world, the truth is that the universe and everything in it belongs to God and Him alone. When you open your heart to God truthfully, you will immediately feel the fire of the Holy Spirit upon you, growing stronger day by day, even in your weakest moments. Be careful at this point to make your actions consistent with the attributes in the first column because you are now a target of the real enemy, the devil, who will attempt to deceive you so that your actions are consistent with those in column two.  Do not allow yourselves to be deceived. The truth is that there are wars going on and it’s not just the man-made ones.  The real enemy, the devil, is working very hard waging spiritual war on God’s children right now and will deceive the very elect if it were possible, (Matthew 24:24), because he knows he has just a little time. If you are a true believer you know what is written here is the truth and we all have God’s true work to do to the best of our abilities.

My prayer is that all come to repentance and understand and respect God’s sovereignty as the creator, the giver of life. Therefore, each life is sacred and should be treated as such. God is a searcher of the hearts and minds of His children. Be sure that on judgment day, when He looks upon your heart, He will see a reflection of Himself and will say to you welcome good and faithful servant. Take this pebble with your new name written in it that only you and I know. Please, come and share your master’s table.  (Revelation 2:17)
